I don't get it either. Every major program loses to teams that they are better than but we never here Georgia-ing, FSU-ing, or Oklahoma-nig. We win and this guy says that. Totally ridiculous

Please take your ### away from Clemson and pull for them. Get your head out your butt, there is always another team playing with maximum effort against the Tigers EVERY week. NCSU was hyped and pumped and played their best football. We played well but TO's nearly cost us which is concerning IF we lose a game from it. Until then try to be happy we won and not disregard the fact that we don't just show up and "DESERVE" to win based on talent. Doesn't work like that and this "writer" seems to be lost in space.
And you agree with him. Sad!!

dislike for our program goes way back to our rise in the 70's and 80's under coach ford.
I think it started with the woody hayes incident in the gator bowl.
then the little upstart university from the up state of south Carolina cant possibly beat Nebraska
for the nat championship.we have never been part of the elite programs of the media.
that's why they hate us.

He is saying currently undefeated Clemson is not playoff worthy and there are better teams. Well, hell he is probably right. If the season ended now I think I can find 4 teams playing better that are also undefeated.
Luckily we all have a lot more football to be played and by the time its done, we will see who is still standing. My money is on us.
Go ahead and do the TigerNet thing and call me a coot and give me a TD.

subjective and all such opinions should be considered equally meaningless; thank goodness for a playoff based on some sort of objective criteria. Having said that, I won't call you a coot or TD you, but I will offer my own meaningless opinion. I think we are one of the 4 best teams in the country right now, based on the fact that we have played very poorly at times yet have overcome that and still beat some very good teams on the way to being undefeated. I do understand however, why some folks would not have us rated that highly due to the fact that we have played so poorly at times and made so many mistakes.

I understand your point but I do not agree. Playoffs should be determined by nothing other than wins and losses.
This NCAA Division 1 Football is the only league in the world where style points count! They don't even count on the conference level. The championship is determined by a teams record and nothing else!
I personally think that the fact that Clemson has overcome sluggish play and turn overs only proves that they are a superior team. Heck against a 3rs ranked Louisville team they had 5 turn overs and won! That takes a lot to Overcome. I also think that a Football team is more than offense and the Defense gave up 1 touch down yesterday.
Clemson will not continue to turn the ball over and Lord help the team on the other side when they do get it all together. ( Miami last year and I hope it is FSU this year and SC)

they try but it's mostly an angle to try to get a Pac12 team into relevancy. So they usually don't write from an unbiased perspective. So this is this dudes try and I am pretty sure he doesn't know anything our games other than the final score
We left about 21 points on the field against Troy and NC state. Which is our responsibility to cut that out but we have shown better than the final scores show.
This time I hope it got their attention. Bc it about caught up to us against an opponent that has no business beating us. We gotta get this crap out of our system.
