No it has not, but in defense, unfortunately there was a time frame where our team seemed a little soft along the line of scrimmage. The line was not great and we could not impose our will on lesser teams. Thus, we were all looking for reasons as to why. I questioned our S&C at the time as well.

It was obviously more an upgrade in talent than anything Batson was doing back in the day. Batson Dabo and co have proven the naysayers wrong. I thought Dabo was not the right hire back in the day because he was unproven. However, we all know now the leadership qualities that TDP saw.

I am so proud of the culture Dabo has built with this Tiger program. Dabo is one of the best leaders in coaching and the corporate world I have seen. This guy would have been successful in whatever he chose to do.

replacements to the S&C staff. Certainly credit Batson for altering and updating his methods a bit, and he wasn't as bad as portrayed by some in the first place. But staff was added as well as some change in methods. Equipment and availability of specialized equipment has also changed since then.

But, IMO, Batson is one of the best in the biz and his longevity speaks to that.
