The playoff committee was created to produce a true national champion which is exactly what they have done every year. The committee is not there to pander to people’s ideas of who the top four teams are. Every game every week factors into the national championship. That’s why they keep using the phrase “body of work.” The playoff system for the most part is there to give teams from different conferences who don’t play each other a chance to settle the “who’s the best” argument on the field. The bottom line is that Bama settled it last night as far as UGA is concerned. If it were down to UGA and a bunch of other two loss teams vying for the fourth spot then it’s a conversation worth having but as it is it’s not. UGA got eliminated in what was essentially a first round game last night. Goodbye UGA.

Agree. They say they should be in at #4 now. Well, they were in at #4, and they lost. Now they're not in at #4.
