if Ohio St, LSU, and Clemson all went undefeated.

Would be a complete sham

Exactly my point a few post ago to the crowd.

Those complaining about not being in the playoffs should consider themselves lucky compared to how it use to be.

Think about last year! It would have been Alabama and Georgia. We likely never would have had a shot to show the nation how much of a sham Alabama and the rest of the SEC was. Sham. yes. Sham. They play the weakest OOC teams then play each other. All the while they have been ranked high pre-season and get credit for "ranked losses or wins" thus ensuring they always look like the best!

Not true and glad Clemson did it's part to expose the sham!

ND was also undefeated last year, so there were three undefeated teams going into the playoff and a one-loss OU.

True and "it's a shame too"! Or it would be a shame if it was like that rather. I agree with developing talent/depth. I don't just want Clemson to be good this year; but every year have a chance to win it all.

I do think using the BCS to determine the top 4 would be better than a committee. Would be a little off sometimes but at least consistent.

In 2004 "both the voters and computers punished Auburn for its soft schedule." Oklahoma's OCS was home against Bowling Green (9-3 in the MAC) Houston (3-8) and Oregon (5-6) not exactly murder's row.

However, Your point is well taken.
