What was the deal with J.K. last night.

Dude gave up in the 4th. Realise he picked that fumble, but he was not himself last night.

I am going to say he and the rest of the defense were exhausted. Gotta give those boys more rest. All of the 1's are solid to very good. But at a few positions, especially LB there is no relief without major drop off.

Heck of a play to cause that fumble at the 5 yard line.

Watch all of NDs games and they win throwing the deep ball.

JK was playing back preventing those deep passes to WRs. Unfortunately that opened up the middle.

Plus dude saved a TD on the kickoff!

Lack of Depth seems to be getting to us in 4th quarter***

I agree 100%. He laid the wood on a few dump off passes, saved a touchdown on special teams and caused a fumble at the goal line. He is the unquestioned leader on this defense and a beast.

field for what seemed like the entire last 3 quarters. He came off injured at one point in the fourth, holding his arm/shoulder. When McKenzie was injured and had to sit out in the fourth quarter, it looked to me like Venables had to shift him over the top of, I think was Baker, and help on Fuller. That basically eliminated one of BV's defensive advantages for a bit and they made us pay.

I thought he played great and was a major reason for the victory.
