Think Butch Jones can handle the pressure?

Monster year for UT. Its SEC East Champs or bust imo. They’ve given him time. He must win now and that's hard when every game is pressured sudden death. You need a great coach to have the team ready and make good in game decisions and we still don't know if he can do that. Thoughts?

probably as good a chance as any with all the turnover in the division. Another mediocre year with rival programs looting the state and I agree he should be gone.

He really believes this is "the' year that they will make it to the playoffs. He has recruited a lot better than they have in years. I didn't want her to get charged more.
He told me that Dabo has something special going own and he was irritated about losing their 5 star QB and 4 star RB to us, I didn't say anything about Feaster over the summer.
He did say if they didn't make it to the SEC title game Butch may be gone, and I laughed because I don't believe they will fire him. I don't believe he will be happy with this years team. They will have a shot to win their division in the cupcake coot division.
Go Tigers and Dabo is your daddy Butch!

I am betting the Vols give Bama a run for their money. They lost 4 games last year. They lost by 7 to Oklahoma in overtime, 1 to Florida, 4 to Arkansas, and only 5 to Bama. Two of those teams were in the playoffs. I am not a Vols fan....but I am especially not a Bama fan. I can't wait to see that ugly orange team beat the tide.

General feel from my Vol friends,coworkers, and the media around here is that they are not calling for his head yet. We will see how 2016 goes.....all that could change in a second.

I live in Knoxville and I am astounded by the hard feelings some of the fans still have for the loss to Oklahoma and Florida last year. I find Butch hard to listen to. He generates none of the warmth and shows none of the charisma of Dabo Swinney. BuTch will have to win big this year to stay in the good graces of the Big Orange Nation.
