Make me not want to allow my son to watch professional sports. It's getting ridiculous the way GROWN MEN act

No wonder the younger crowd attempts the same...even those not on the gridiron.

The showboating is exactly why I don't watch professional sports anymore-Neon Dion was what started turning me off. Celebrate after you win the game.

Sherman did celebrate after he won the game...

his tip to the other seahawk for the int, virtually ended the game. There has always been trash talking in the NFL. If you don't like it go watch high school football.

The game isnt for sissies. Sherman was putting other receivers on notice that if they talk a big game, they better back it up. The NFL needs more players who are passionate about the game like Sherman.

Well, when you're All-Pro and in constant contention for DPOY, there's absolutely nothing inaccurate about saying "I'm the best."
It's arrogant, but it's not like this is some college kid who still has a lot to prove.
Not a Sherman fan, but him saying "I'm the best" is the least of my worries.

It maybe a good teaching tool as to how a pro athlete/player acts in public after he graduates from a college as UNC. Unprofessional and completely uneducated!!!

Ha! Ha! No whining here..just an observation that simply b/c Sherman went to almighty "Stanford" doesn't automatically exclude him from saying/doing stupid stuff. And btw, there's a difference between trash talking and inane ranting - Sherman was definitely doing the latter after the game..

To be fair, the only reason we don't see things like this in college is because coaches have specific rules against it.
It's a lot easier to tell a college kid what to do than it is an NFL All-Pro who is more valuable to your team than most of your coaching staff.
