An seeing Ole Miss struggle with Kent State puts some perspective on the beat down they took last week at the hands of AL.

The SEC W is still the best division in cfb by a long shot. Bama, Texas A&M, LSU (who beat down Miami), Auburn.

They still lost. If the turnover argument held water...

then A&M could make the same argument in regards to our game where they threw a pick in the endzone, fumbled for a touchback, and missed FGs.

LSU may not have destroyed them on the stat sheet, but they were in complete control of that game from start to finish.

I watched that game with four Auburn grads and they

thought LSU was very lucky to win. ESPN loves to sell their product (SEC), and fans buy into the hyperbole.

I don't put any stock into what an Auburn grad thinks...

about football. Those are the same people who had Gus walking on water late last season.
I'm not sure I've ever seen a team get "lucky to win" when ever they had a 30pt lead going into the 4Q. They gave up 2TDs and over half of Miami's yards in the 4Q when the game was out of reach.

Again, a pick six for a TD and another turnover set

up another short drive for a LSU TD. That is 14 points. LSU only had one scoring drive over 58 yards all night. They only had a total of 103 yards of offense in the second half. Again, I jumped into this thread responding to the "curb stomping" comment claimed by another posted.
Gifts from your opponent setting up scores and short drives is not a curb stomping. Curb stomping is what Clemson gives SCAR at the end of each season.

Go back and watch it again... or look up the play by play.

Miami didn't start giving them anything until later in the game.
Miami - 3 & out LSU - 22yd drive for a FG (LSU 3-0) Miami - FG drive (3-3) LSU - 3 & out Miami - punt for a touchback LSU - 72yd TD drive (LSU 10-3) Miami - 3 & out LSU - 58yd TD drive (LSU 17-3) Miami - 3 & out LSU - 53yd FG drive (LSU 20-3)
Then the turnovers started. LSU totally earned every bit of the 17pt lead they had BEFORE Miami fell apart. Miami had ONE turnover the first half and LSU had a 24pt lead. The game was over at that point. It's not like Miami was going toe to toe with them and couldn't finish. Miami had 141yds the first half. They were no where near competitive until they started clicking the 4Q.

*Miami missed a FG prior to the LSU 72yd drive for a TD...

My error there. But Miami had 7 possessions. They kicked a FG, missed a FG, punted FOUR times, and threw a pick 6. They forced ONE LSU punt.
