One uofsc fan stated that Beamer was in no way qualified to be an SEC head coach.
I guess that makes him the perfect pick since UofSC is in no way qualified to be an SEC football team

Those folks down in Cooterville really think USCjr is much more desirable football coaching stop than the rest of the college football world does.

Hard to believe they haven't learned their lesson hiring "legends". Personally, if I were a legendary retired head coach, there is no way I'd even answer SCar's phone calls. All they've done to at least two legitimate HOF coaches is tarnish the twilight of their career and send them out with a whimper.

Per season, suffer for 3 years then retire comfortably with a 10 Million buyout why not. All they need is one 7 win season in year 2 or 3 and they are on the gravy train.

Local news said last night Spurrier commented Muschamp did as well as any other South Carolina coach. Ouch! Don't know what the coot fans expect.

At 0.482 - he is tied with Rex Enright and Sparky Woods... and slightly above Lou Holtz. Far ahead of Dietzel
Their 5th best modern era coach, behind Spurrier, Morrison, Greise, & Carlen
So if you rank him in the coaching group of "successful" coot coaches - dead middle

Yeah, it's Shane. He was Spurrier's assistant when he was down there and actually recruited some good palters into that place.
Big leap from where he is at to HC at a P5 school, though. Don't see him being seriously considered. But you guys know them better than I do.
