Syracuse does not have a baseball program. What? I'm pretty sure they'd suck anyway but no baseball team is downright UN-AMERICAN! Just another reason to wish we did not have them in the ACC.

As per Title IX you'd have to add another women's sport to balance the numbers. What sport say you?

Related topic - there are currently 12 ACC teams who field softball teams. Clemson, Wake Forest and Miami do not. Each division has six teams.
What happens in 2020 when Clemson starts softball and there is now an odd number of teams?

its one of the most popular girl's sports in the state. Having a sport like rowing, which hardly any high schools have, was added strictly because of Title 9 and it was cheaper than softball. Because of Title 9, if we add men's lacrosse, we will add women's also.

Currently only 5 schools in the ACC field men's lacrosse teams. The Holy Grail of smug, our "blank doesn't stink" roster of schools: Duke, ND, UNCheaters, UVA, Syracuse. Won't happen at Clemson anytime soon.

Plus, their lack of proximity to other ACC schools would be a travel/money issue. They'd basically be paying for 40 people to fly every week with no return revenue. They would lose millions of dollars.
