A turnover is too important to miss an important call on. Had that been the NC game vs Bama, it very well could have decided the game, and a game shouldn’t be decided by the refs.

especially if there's a turnover involved. And if there is a penalty that is DIRECTLY LINKED to the turnover, they should be able to call it retroactively with indisputable video evidence.

Precisely...the TARGETING call is the costliest...

...penalty in football. In many cases, we have seen SUBJECTIVITY in the analysis of a reviewed targeting call.
This same sort of SUBJECTIVITY should be applied to PASS INTERFERENCE calls as well. We see refs getting the PI call WRONG ALL OF THE TIME. Too many times (and I am guilty of advocating this well), I say on a long 3rd down, just heave it downfield, and see if you can pick up a PI. I'd like to know the percentage of time that this has happened to give the team a 1st down. I'd say a 20% chance of a NON-REVIEWABLE PI.

right the first time. Some of the stuff you see that has to be reviewed are calls that should be easy to get the first time around
