it was discussed by Tnet Gooroos in a smoke filled room, posted, then deleted by said gooroo. I am assuming everyone else fell in line.

Upated projections still have us in the Citrus vs Mizzou.

The ACC has an agreement with the Orange Bowl that if the Orange Bowl selects a B1G team, then the Citrus will take an ACC team instead of their B1G team. Therefore, the "experts" were looking to see if Michigan State went to the Orange Bowl to signal Clemson's chances at the Citrus.

But MSU is in Cotton... so who goes to Citrus? Wiscy?***

They should. Since Orange didn't take a Big 10

Dec 7, 2014, 3:10 PM

then Citrus should make its normal pick of a Big 10 team...likely Wisconsin

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So does the Citrus bowl now take Big10 team?....

Is that why we can't go?
Or is there still a chance?

here's the explanation

Dec 7, 2014, 3:09 PM

Clemson (9-3) finished No. 17 in the final Playoff Top 25, unveiled Sunday afternoon, but the big reveal was Mississippi State jumping Michigan State, although neither team played this last week.

By the inexplicable move, the Citrus Bowl opening was pulled back and Mississippi State took the Orange Bowl bid, limiting the ACC's bowl slots. Clemson will land in the Russell Athletic, likely versus Oklahoma.
