He was the best out there.After all, most of the better coaches were allready off
the market when Tanner decided to go grocery shopping.

I have literally heard Coots compare him to Bill Belichick. Their reasoning is Belichick failed in Cleveland before he came to New England. I can't make this up. It's really comical at this point

There is a huge difference in college and pro style plays. Currently there is only one coach I can consider like that and he went from a three time national championship to super bowl champs all within 5 years.

I get fans have to find the positive especially when you've got nothing more to think about as your football season is 100% done now. But you can't make up stuff like that and be taken seriously. Maybe they are thinking, "he was best on the market in the final week...".
