I actually hoped we would have let him kick a couple last week. A few to grow on so to speak. I'd say if we are within easy range, knock a few down if the games in hand. Who cares about the score in the end as long as we win, and set ourselves up for future success.

it's definitely unneeded. He will only be kicking extra points this year. The only time we will be needing a 35+ yard field goal this year is on one of the most penalized extra points ever.

when it was 4th and 4 and Nick Schuessler was in the game. It would have given this guy a chance at a FG to see what we have in him. But we went for it on 4th and got the first down, then a few plays later Nick fumbled. But all of that is irrelevant. I think this guy needs to have a few FG opportunities under his belt in blowouts in DV before we go to Louisville and play. Odds are we'll need a FG or two to win that game and it'd be nice to have him experienced.

Pending a future decision to leave early, which I don't think will be the case if he decides to stick it out in the studios of Lee Hall, he'll surpass Catanzaro(330?) as the all-time leading scorer at Clemson. That is if DW4 lets him on the field every now and then. I think the Clemson offense will give him plenty of big lead, no-stress opportunities to kick it thru the uprights. Go Tigers!
