There’s a fierce rivalry being played in the upstate

Saturday, 6:30 kick-off in Spartanburg: Wofford verses Citadel. Man, this rivalry goes way back! As a boy in the 1950s I remember going to the county fair in Orangeburg to see this game. Men in felt hats and ties. Wofford’s quarterback was Charlie Bradshaw and their end was Jerry Richardson. Terriers won.

Should be a better game than when Clemson & USuCk meet....which has turned into a lopsided beatdown.
