That I failed to mention that may be of importance to some of you. The AD said that the sale of alcoholic beverages in Memorial Stadium was not being considered. Apparently those places where it is being sold is teams that are having trouble selling tickets to the games and the sale of beer etc. is a ploy to increase ticket sales. Without question our Tigers are intoxicating enough without resorting to this strategy to encourage more fan support. I hope that you join me in approving this decision. Death Valley is magnificent just the way it is now. imo

beverages in Death Valley. I'm not against alcohol but darn sure don't want it in the stadium. Nothing irritates me more than folks spilling beer on fellow fans in a crowded stadium. Every time I have been to Panther Stadium this has happened. The last thing we need is more inebriated fans getting even more sauced while in Death Valley. If a person can't abide by the "pass-out" stadium policy or go without drinking a beer for the 3.5 hours they are in the stadium, then maybe they have an alcohol problem and should consider not drinking alcohol at all.
