There is no shame in sitting Saturdays and Sundays out

Jun 14, 2020, 11:06 AM

this fall. We could all use more time with our families, kids, parents, grandkids, grandparents. Help a neighbor out. Volunteer at the local homeless shelter. Visit the local prison and talk to someone in need of a friend or encouragement. Pick up trash along the highway. Not by any means saying I do all of these things but I plan to start. Time and money are too valuable and can be used for so much better then wasting it on football. not trying to shame or make anyone feel bad as I have wasted and immense amount of time and money on things that don't really matter. But recent events over the last few months have changed a lot of things.

I will be supporting the team, coaches and players who continue to represent my alma-mater in the fashion they have.

I’m out, because only the privileged rich people will be able to get tickets.***

You’ve had months and months to do those things. How many did you do on your list

I echo the previous posters sentiments

I will do everything I can to support the young men and staff that continue to impress and show why Clemson is such a special place and why it is the important to recruit character.

I donate and volunteer to multiple charitable organizations (HALTER, ML4 Foundation, Special Olympics, Shriners Hispital, to name a few if you feel inclined to look them up and help out) and have been “forced” to spend more time with my family (the only positive from the virus mandates)

I can’t wait to get back to a football game at Death Valley

Go Tigers

work, spend time with family and cheer our Tigers on Saturdays. It's a balanced life and we don't need to have a cancelled season to start doing those things. We should be doing them regardless.

While you on your do-good mission, might consider posting less on TigerNet, Mr. It's Time to Change the Name of the University.

I know your intentions were good for posting this, and some of your points are valid, but this is just silly.

Try visiting a local prison. See what happens.

I offered to do Volunteer work for Shriner's Hospital working OUTSIDE on the grounds. You should have seen the stack of papers they gave me to fill out. Never mind!

This is the best year to go! Most of tigernet will be at home in their masks and gloves.

I’ve been isolated with my family for months now, had enough of that.

I don’t like my neighbors and they don’t like me and we are good with that.

Don’t have a homeless shelter here.

Prison is full of co-vid. Couldn’t get in there if you broke the law.

My wife gives me all the “encouragement” I can handle.

Right now I’ve got plenty of time and my stimulus check is burning a hole in my pocket.

Can’t pick up trash on the road here because I’m allergic to Bo-Jangles.

Current events have me sorely depressed and I’ve lost all faith in mankind.

College football is a diversion and joy for me that is time and money well spent.

Spot the #### ball before I go bat-chit crazy.
