There is 0 chance any football committee would move ND

Nov 17, 2018, 11:42 PM

To #2 and Clemson down to #3 after this week. Clemson dominated the game after the 1st quarter.

ND beat a Syracuse team that lost their starting QB in 1st quarter. He is key to the offense Syracuse runs. ND did dominate the game but in no way did they do anything to move them past Clemson.

I know it doesn’t truly matter if our Tigers are 2 or 3, but it matters to me because the committee should know football. We played Syracuse while they were at full strength, undefeated, lost our starting QB, played a freshman QB with no game experience that mattered, and got the win with late game drive. Pitt had every chance to beat ND, excited to get a shot at Pitt in ACCCG and put our 4th straight ACCCG in the trophy case. But first, we get to put the 5 spot on those Lamecrocks!!

I wouldn't put "anything" past this committee, but you could also argue that point about Bama's first-half performance against the Bulldogs(no, not those Bulldogs)!

Either way we rout Notre Dame before we beat Alabama...

2 seed vs. 3 or 3 seed vs. 2 does not matter.

But the top four spots remain the same this week. Big wins for all.

It is shaping up for Michigan to be #4 and face Bama. UM is the weakest of the 4 IMO, so Bama will get them. ND is not going to be a pushover team. IMO though, without a conference championship game, ND does NOT belong. The rule needs to change to prevent teams getting to rest their team while the other teams have to play their tough opponent. Not fair. PERIOD.

Hey CFP Committee - fix it doooshes.

What does NM mean?

I don't care as long as we end up in the 2-3 game.***

The question is though does a win over a team ranked #12 make their resume better than ours? I think it does. They already have a win over Michigan. Our best win to date outside of Syracuse is BC who just went down to FSU and will likely fall from the top 25.
