There has been a flurry of offers lately

To recruits. Is there a reason for it? I’m sure the coaches know what they are doing but it does seems like there has been a greater number this early than we are used to seeing. Anyone know why?

My guess is that the offers the week before and the week after our recent Junior Day. Makes sense to me.

Why does a coot fan care how many offers Clemson makes to recruits? It’s not like USuC has any chance at landing a recruit after Clemson offers.

Not to mention South Carolina also has double the offers out as Clemson.

He said that many of the players don't grow until their jr year. Not everyone is a full frown man sophomore year of HS. There is a lot to evaluate.

Just imagine the level of excitement if Dabo and his staff were to make 500 offers. That's 500 prospects who would be bragging to all the world, "hey, I have an offer from Clemson, the top school in the country". How could that not boost the ego of many prospects? And rest assured, if the Gamecock staff reviewed that list and found someone who they had not offered, they would immediately pick up the phone and extend an offer.
I have no idea how many of our offers are committable but I would suspect a large number may hinge on how they develop this next season and the next two seasons for the 2020 class.
