Boston College Game Question

Oct 15, 2018, 11:25 AM

Looking for some advice from fellow Tnetters

I'm taking my fam-damily of 4 up to Boston for the game. It'll be our first time up there for a game. Does anyone know how easy or difficult it will be to find tickets at the game? We went to the Wake game last wknd and spent about half an hour looking for anyone selling tickets, and literally didn't find anyone in the main parking areas or out in front of the stadium. Luckily game wasn't sold out so I was able to purchase tix at the box office about 30 mins before kickoff. Just looking for some advice from the experts. Should I buy on Stubhub prior to the game or wait and buy them there? Any other advice would be appreciated too. Best transportation option to/from game, etc. TIA

because they have so many odd restrictions on tailgating.

Their fans tend to show-up in waves throughout the first quarter which means at kickoff, the stadium won't look very crowded. However, toward the end of the quarter, it will be pretty full (weather permitting).

Because of that, there generally are not a lot of tickets for sale outside the stadium which is why I always buy them through Clemson or StubHub before making the trip.

Thanks for the info. I'll go ahead and buy on stubhub.

agreed on the tickets - i'd buy before you get there. also, if you stay in downtown, there is a train/metro (i think it's the "T") that will take you to Chestnut Hill in about 20-30 mins.

BC Still has lower deck face value tix on their page...

Clemson allotment should be Section O based on history. O, P, L, OO, PP will likely be very orange.

There are 3 Green Line Trains that take you near BC. They

are labeled "B" "C" and "D"

End of the B line is the shorter walk (and through their beautiful campus!)

End of the C line there are some bars there near the stop, but there's a 1 mile walk around the Reservoir.

Can also use the D line and take one of two stops depending on if you want to go to bars at Cleveland Circle or take the one further up and walk over to the Stadium.

https://www.mbta.com/ is also a good reference tool.

The B Line is the better walk IMO***

DEFINITELY!

I've done B and C.

B is much better if you are just taking the train up and not doing anything else in that area!
