Yessir! Those are fantastic. I like the Chicago style Italian beef sammiches too.
Lived in Sugar Grove Il. for a year outside of Chicago and my fondest memories are definitely of the food.

season, the drink & eats were fabulous.
I lived River North, Ontario at the Park, just across from Erie Cafe if you know the area.
Too many nights at Red Head, English, Stretch Run, Joe's on Weed... good peoples, good times.

Lived in Cinci for five years and traveled to Chicago to frequent an area near old town where a former Clemson fraternity brother lived. Loved the rawness and honesty I’d feel walking the streets. Deep dish pizza and Italian beef sandwiches. Old Style and dogs. Good times. Too expensive. Too cold though.p

Moved to Chicago for 3 yrs in the 80’s from GSP. Who in the world would think of putting cucumber on a hot dog and then not having a bun big enough to hold all of the extras? Mustard, ketchup, and chili was my thing. But they had the best lemon ice. Particles of lemon rind and lemon in it. So great.
