It's humorous enough to hear the show content and callers, but to hear the Jim Rome cuts during the CBS commercial breaks saying "it's Clemson, Alabama, and then there's everyone else, and that isn't going to change any time soon" just adds more insult to injury...

Maybe I'm being petty.. I'm ok with that.

phone at home today... but I really wish that I could debate the "motivation" excuses with JP, he can do better and should because his assertion is that uga, usuck, michigan all had motivation issues... some players maybe, but not all of them because some players wanted to get on the field to get the reps and get the look from the coaches for next year or scouts for the draft...

It took a while, but Dabo has removed the whole "motivation" idea from our culture. Football games are about winning. Period. Point. Blank. You line up, punch you man in mouth and make him like it. Week in. Week out.

Put us in bowl game in Antarctica for the Eskimo Bowl, and watch us try to drill anybody in our way!!

I agree, I will never get the whole motivation argument. It’s more often used as an excuse in my opinion for why you lost. If the whole team truly isn’t motivated to play, why not just forfeit the game and not waste everyones time? Let everyone know you are cowards and lack the mental fortitude to compete no matter the opponent or venue. It’s funny how no one ever mentions not wanting to be there until they lose.
