The word is that White will start at QB

For Auburn on Sep 3rd.
We will break that cracker in half??

Watched some old film on him and have this conclusion

He has benefitted greatly from some excellent receivers in the past. That helps of course.

But -

- he's athletic and can roll away from pressure
- has quick hands
- can take a hit

He's for sure no Cam Newton. He's undersized and I've never seen him under constant pressure. Just look at Kaaya - can take an NFL caliber quarterback and turn him into an indecisive lump.

I think he's pretty good -- question is, will he have time to show it.

Here's to hoping not.

“Clemson wasn’t that much better with Trevor Lawrence, if at all.”

he is the best game mgr they have for sure. He is a very good QB but I don't think they have the supporting cast on offense needed for him to win. The biggest advantage for Clemson is White lost a very good RB to support him. If we can get a 2 TD lead he will fall apart.

"It's difficult to pinpoint an area where White beats out the competition besides perhaps intangibles. His arm strength and running ability are both behind Johnson and Franklin and while White was accurate, he made few notable passing plays last season."

And he's 6ft tall. How will he see over our mountain of a line? I'm guessing he's their hand-off or deep route guy and Franklin III comes in for QB sneak packages... Shouldn't be hard to decipher on the field after the first two series.
