Because of distance I have not been to the valley for many years ,but seem to remember reading some time ago about under turf drainage being worked on... Only a guess that it could be related, not knowing the design or exactly what you are seeing. Just saying it could be the areas that needed to be drained in a wet spell are inadvertently too well drained in a dry period.? Seems though it could be managed. I remember it well and would love to return .

The color of the grass has no bearing on how the field plays or even the health of the turf. However, all fans want to see a beautiful green field and seem disappointed when it is not perfect. The choices are to overseed the Bermuda with Ryegrass or paint it. It is getting a little late to overseed (which also is not particularly good for the Bermuda) and the Bermuda is starting to go dormant, so thus it does not look quite as good as normal. My guess is that the plans are to paint the field and for some reason the maintenance crew may not have had an opportunity due to rain or other factors. Bottom line the field is fine for playability and that is the biggest thing!

And JK isn't even here - he's in syracuse and everyone knows they don't have the interweb thingy up there except at Denny's and such.
Get serious bob - if we aren't careful, this loss will cause us another one.

It's also not a coincidence that our academic profile continues to rise as orange overall wearing continues to decline.
