Rivals 4/5-stars: Clemson vs Notre Dame 2015-2018

Just out of curiosity I looked up Rivals 4* and 5* signees for Clemson and Notre Dame for 2015, '16, '17, and '18.

Each school signed 46 total 4/5 star players in those years. The break down was:

Notre Dame: 1 five star and 45 four stars

Clemson: 15 five stars and 31 four stars

I didn't look at how many of those players are still on the team. I just quickly looked up aggregate singees out of curiosity.

The talent disparity

I was going to make this a topic, but I'll just put it here.

Current 5 stars on rosters:

Per Rivals
Bama: 12
Clemson: 12
Oklahoma: 2
ND: 1

PER 247
Bama: 13
Clemson: 9
Oklahoma: 2
ND: 1

Going by 247sports, 7 of our 5 stars see significant playing time (8 if going by rivals) and 9 of Alabamas (10 going by rivals).

ND's 5 star is their starting right guard I believe.
