Not to mention one of the best feel-good stories in Adam Emmenecker - a former walk-on (whose only scholarship offer was to play baseball at Boston College) turned Valley POY, and yet another multi-major kid.

Hammonds has been the utter definition of a student athlete, but that is some elite competition.
