The season shouldn't be over right now.

Officiating wasn't as terrible as ACC crews but it had its moments that turned the tide of this game (looking at you tie up). Gabe deserved this win by himself. The rest of them needs to work on passing and my lord turnovers. Just so sloppy for the majority of the game.

At least I can say we went down fighting though. It was a great season and it's a shame it ended here. Now let's figure out how we can keep Gabe for just one more year!

We were intimidated in the 1st half - that's what cost......

Idk about intimidated. I think we were just pressing too much and overdoing it which lead to our crazy turnover passes.

Completely agree, but very proud of how they fought through the beginning of the second half and finished the game.

The game was lost when Clemson did not make but one layup in the last 8 minutes of the first half and then the first 2 minutes of the second went scoreless.

10 minutes and 22 seconds and only one single bucket.

That is 1/4 of the game.

Great defense by the refs I guess

We scored on the first possession of the second half, and it was a layup in the last 7 minutes (Devoe made a 3 with 7:13), other than that you’re spot on.

But yeah, the tech that self begged for started that.

I hate the rule but the tech call was 100% right. I think there has to be some intent to purposefully hit above the shoulder for the flagrant 1 call.

Self was correct in asking for the review and obviously, there was contact with the hand and arm above the neck to the head.

By the rule the review was justified and the call correct.

I just disagree with the rule and the way it was written. But the refs had no choice on that one play and got it right.

#1, there are no "acc crews". refs call across leagues.
#2, it was not a "technical foul". it was a 'flagrant 1", a personal foul.

As of 2016 the ACC shares officials with the Big East, Atlantic 10, and Colonial. I believe before that they used officials that could call games in whatever conference they wanted. As far as I know that’s the only sharing of officials in the country (unless something’s changed). Other officials can call wherever they can get the work.

Not intimidated , just the 7 footer that was blocking shots and altering them .

We dug ourselves into a big hole by playing sloppy

the first half. Can't do that with good teams, especially number 1 seeds.

We weren't calm cool and collected, and it cost us.

There's no doubt we could beat this team. We just didn't prove it tonight.
