The real question for the board is what would it take.....

for Clemson to land some of the top recruits in the nation? The quick answer is, many, many dead presidents!
Seriously, I pondered the question this weekend as I watched two high school teams play on ESPN. The #1 team from Florida v the #12 team from Illinois! (BTW both of these teams could compete with Clemson)
None of the players were considering Clemson!
While I was not surprised it still begs the question, Why not Clemson?
If Coach K left Duke and coached at Clemson would that do it?
Would our current team have to win the Nation Championship in order to creat a buzz?
I personnally don't believe it has much to do with facilities or location or even tradition.
It pretty much boils down to having a coach that knows how to win with the players he can get right?

No - no matter what , you have to have top talent......

to be a real winner. It's how you attract and obtain the top talent that's the real question. Facilities do matter - don't kid yourself but a coach with a "name" who can also get the results from the players is vital.

Again, having the talent is what it takes first of all to be a big winner followed by real coaching and development skills.
