so the refs measure to see if the coots

Dec 3, 2014, 2:29 PM

make a first down when they obviously lost half a yard on the 4th down qb sneak. That and the horrendous targeting call tell you all u need to know about that crew. Idiots

Don't forget the obvious fumble.***

Dec 3, 2014, 2:32 PM

Very true. Called by a guy totally out of position to call it

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-74tiger.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It was totally laughable at that point***

Worst call I have seen in awhile.

With 50 seconds left and the ball we had time to run 1 more jet sweep.

After that generous spot, they were hoping!

And after watching replay at home I still don't see Deshaun's knee hit when he stretched.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Didn't you hear? His ACL was torn so bad that

Dec 3, 2014, 2:36 PM

it was hanging 6 inches below his knee cap.

that is because it didn't

Even a Ron Cherry crew wasn't this bad.

i liked it when they made dabo burn a TO for review of

knew full well what they were doing.

I owe the refs from the Wake game a HUGE apology

Dec 3, 2014, 2:49 PM

I cussed them out, called them every name in the book, and accused them of being the most ignorant and incompetent bunch of refs I had ever seen.

I clearly stand ccorrected.

That $EC offiaiating crew for the Ckicken Kickin' bent over backwards to garner that distinction.

Wow...just wow !!!

won't have our All Conference LB playing against them in the first half.

days. The refs are being pressured to tighten up their play calling and it's causing these type of screw ups when it's a close call. I have seen it in college and pro football all season.

agreed, and also a dirty little secret that nobody talks

Dec 3, 2014, 3:01 PM [ in reply to I blame it on the addeed scrutiny regarding injuries these ]

about is this: a lifelong buddy of mine is a Big XII official and has been for several years. He is in his mid 40's. He told me that the game moves too fast for some of the older guys but the politics and cronyism behind the scenes makes that a slippery slope to address. He said it can be infuriating when you are working on crews that have a lot of graybeards.....egos abound.

We couldn't determine at the game, nor able after watching DVR....what was the sideline penalty?

I believe it was on Coach BV for being on the field.***

I didn't actually see it.....

Dec 3, 2014, 3:20 PM

but it must have been fairly egregious since they didn't feel inclidend to give the customary one sideline warning.

The real problem with the "targeting"

Dec 3, 2014, 3:05 PM

For some incidental helmet contact was that it cost Stephone Anthony his last quarter ever playing in Death Valley.

You mean other than the fact that its wasn't ...

even remotely close to targeting.
