Question about a gift I received

Dec 24, 2019, 9:05 AM

I was given a piece of the Littlejohn floor that was installed in 2003 and replaced in 2016.

I am curious what posters’ fondest memories of this floor were. I am assuming that we played on this floor from the 2003-04 season through the 2014-15 season. What was the biggest victory you saw on it? Did you walk across it at graduation? See a great concert? Watch Tigerama?

I am anxious to see your answers. I graduated long before 2003, and lived in Charleston for most of that time, so attended very few home basketball games. Since I have no real personal connection, please share yours.

if it a piece of the floor that Brownell walked on, Judge Keller would give you $100,000 and a ########!

The person sitting beside my niece at graduation threw up

on the floor in the middle of the ceremony (in 2009, I think). Perhaps your piece of flooring has been barfed upon by a Clemson grad. If that person is a TNetter now (which seems likely) - maybe we could get him to sign it for you.

Preemptive: No pigs of niece - sorry...

My personal attachment was that it was nice to see relatives graduate in the coliseum, and it was a nice parking area for the football games. When are we going to tear it down and build a roller coaster there for the football operation complex?

My son threw up on it during basketball camp back in 2010. It's probably the section you got.

Do you know the date it was installed? We beat north Carolina on feb 15 2003 and jan 31 2004 (ranked 14). I wasn’t there but those are big wins someone might have a memory about!

My vote is the win over Duke in 2009

We were #10, and they were #3. That was an incredible game!

Do you know how you can be certain this wasn’t a Brownell coached team without checking the date?
