We seem to be making a lot more solid contact instead of weak grounders.

Unfortunately, those hard hit balls are hit right at people (see the last out of this game)

Not sure if your misremembering or not but the issues last year was every #8 5ft. 10inch hitter on the team was under the impression they were HR hitters. Which led to lots and lots of lazy flyballls. Its just bad at the plate all around. Gotta believe after several years of this crap, the excuses will wear thin quick

I should've said weak contact. Thats my bad.

But it does seem that there are more hard hit balls coming off of our bats this year they just can't seem to find holes

Doesn’t appear that way at all to be. Some decent contact but mot nearly enough. To this point of the season, it is the worst noting team I can remember at Clemson. I’m hoping it gets better but I’m not sure where it will come from.
