Don is just the continued progression of Clemson taking control of access to information. Don is a Clemson employee and Pete wasn't. In the very near future you will not be able to get information about Clemson football program except from the Clemson official site. The days of having 10 Clemson football web sites covering Clemson football is slowly coming to an end. Clemson will soon control all the information and the revenue stream from that information.

They will have to focus on things Clemson can't cover in detail like recruiting. Clemson coaches can't comment on recruiting so those sites will still be able to cover that. Closed practices and access to players and coaches after practice will get more and more limited to just the official Clemson site. I could be wrong, but I am not the only one that thinks this is the direction they're moving.
