I still don't understand how DW sprined his LCL on that play

Nov 17, 2014, 10:32 AM

A sprain implies some type of exagerated bending of the joint but it didn't look like he even cut on the leg.

I know a ligament can snap like an old dried rubber band when suddenly pulled, which would have made sense. But how it was sprained is beyond me.

His hand actually didnt feel good, so he went down with a "knee injury" to throw everyone off. He will have 2 weeks for the hand to heal now.

It didn't look that bad at all.

I think it scared DW more than anything else.

He's going to be ready Nov 29. Mark it down!

The knee is a fickle thing

Nov 17, 2014, 10:58 AM

I played probably the worse sports for knees, football, basketball, and tennis in high school, continued with tennis in college and never hurt my knee. Partially tore my MCL and ACL and got meniscus damage stepping in a hole my dog dug at the age of 26 and have had knee problems ever since. The knees are our bodies gremlins...
