Will the offense have to wait until the defense is set even at 29 seconds or less to go on the play clock? Does the defense have 10 seconds to decided if they want to subsitute?

The key is WHY is it being decided by a group that includes representatives (half ladies) from football powerhouses such as Smiths, Armstrong, Fitchburg, Shenandoah and Arkansas Tech??? Something is broken in NCAAsville!

sub at any point during the 10 seconds many will just wait until 31 seconds on the play clock and trot out there while refs hold up play and actual snaps won't get off to more like 20 seconds by the time the guy gets set, refs moves off the ball and blows the whistle, and offense does the snap count.

This will last as long as it takes an SEC team to lose a chance at the tying field goal because a defense is successful at ruining their 4 minute offense.

There has been very little thought behind this ridiculous proposed rule change. Hopefully,calm heads will realize this is just a poor attempt by Saban and Bielema to try to neutralize modern offenses.
