Tanner said it may not have all the bells and whistles and I think it is going to cost less than half of what Clemson's did. So no they won't have what we have

And Tanner better include the temperature alarm bells and whistles or those chickens won't survive the heat in the summer or those cold nights in the winter!

One of the things that got us to this point was marketing and genius level social media skills. They will try to get better at this but don't have the behind the scenes people we have

The issue is "Brand"?
Jan 29, 2017, 12:50 PM
|
|
Dabo et al have created positive distinguishing characteristics that separate Clemson football from other programs. This is being marketed nationally through all forms of media and especially to recruits. The Clemson football brand is now enhanced with a track record of "proven" results most notably the 2016 National Championship. It is a "huge" and powerful brand.
The Coots have no identity. Muschamp is viewed as a failure. Coot football has a history of failure. The only real brand that the Coots could claim is one of "loser". No alternative facts can change that.

They cannot manufacture Clemson no matter how

much they spend. As Belk said and all Tiger fans know too, Clemson is different. There is something genuine about Clemson that cannot be replicated. It doesn't matter how much money sc throws at something, it's still Columbia and the univ of South Carolina. They've been trying to buy success for their entire existence and never has panned out and never will.

You can bet on it. They are the world's worst at copying what other successful programs do. You don't have to look far. They stole Southern Cal's logo.

A serious point to make about MANY programs who try to build
Jan 29, 2017, 2:16 PM
|
|
From what I've read, it can be an almost impossibility for at least some programs...and an incredible expense for others who DON'T HAVE THE PROPERTY.
To be landlocked, or at least not to have land where it makes most sense, can be a huge obstacle to deal with when it comes to having indoor facilities PLUS something like our football operations center.
Clemson is blessed with land. The building was expensive, yes. But imagine if the property itself were at a premium....

Not to worry, making a slide out of that corrugated tin roofing for chicken coops will give a very bumpy ride.
