think, DRad isn't a moron. Everyone knows next year isn't going to be great in hoops. There's no reason to keep Brownell this year and then fire him next year after the team wins 6 or 7 league games. (And no, the marginal amount saved on the buyout is not a significant factor.)

Basically what I'm saying is that you either fire Brad right now or commit to him for TWO more years. Bringing him back for next season and then firing him after we, inevitably, struggle with a young team just seems pointless to me unless some great replacement becomes available that isn't available right now.
