... they want to say, “We can throw the record books out the window” in a rivalry like this ... but how many times in the last 100+ years has this actually been true?

Maybe once or twice.

But, oh my, the times when they don’t! Purdue beating OSU comes to mind. Always prepare like it’s the biggest game of the season because it is.

better team for at least 3 of those games. But theChad would make some really weird play calls and once we got down you could see him and TB10 start to panic. All of a sudden we'd have a couple consecutive quick 3 and outs (all passes and all incompletions) and you knew how it was going to end.

Best example was with TB10 hitting every pass driving down the field, he was on fire...then inexplicably theChad called for Sammy Watkins (I think it was Sammy?) to throw it into the end zone instead of his red hot QB.
