"All Things Cootish" since the unveiling, I have a question to ask my more learned brethren . . .

When our "rivals" chose their mascot and nicknamed him a "####", did they themselves begin what we know as the "Chicken Curse"?

As I understand it, a rooster is a mature male chicken (feisty and dominating) and a cockerel is an immature one (underdeveloped and submissive) . . . Perhaps their nickname is that of an immature yardbird rather than a domesticated rooster trained in c0ckfighting?

This mantra would seem to suit them more appropriately.
