I’ve been watching this lately and good lord. I could have sworn I was watching news from 2020. We are essentially going through the same thing right now. Minus the war

But overall it’s a pretty good series. I love the interviews with the vets. And they do a good job of getting vets from different backgrounds. White, black, Asian, Hispanic etc

Socially yes. I realize Burn's Vietnam goes through multiple presidents. That said, Trump and Nixon have so many similarities. Watch "Nixon by Nixon - In His Own Words" on HBO. It's as if our society is repeating itself socially. That said, back in those days the liberals were definitely on the right side of history. Today? Its just a cluster f with people making up reasons to protest imo. Trump still is very similar to Nixon though.

But of course I wasn’t alive then. I’m just a history nerd lol. But when you have thousands of your own VETERANS literally throwing their medals back at you, then you have a problem. But of course you had extremists like the May Day tribe who were hell bent on creating violence.

Understandable. Have you watched that HBO dealio and listened to the tapes? They sound like they both use the exact same ######, but it's not a ######. It's just them.
