The Truth behind the Nkemdiche Decommitment.....

Robert Nkemdiche is coming to Clemson. For the last 6 months, this young man has been pressured daily by the media, his family and many others to Decommitment from Clemson. The attention has been nothing but negative for Clemson. This kid said it from the start, Clemson was what was right in his heart. His best friends are coming here. He made a commitment to all of them. Their decisions centered around his decision. His high school coach is obviously an asset to us. I truly believe that when it all comes down to it, this young man will make his own decision. The truly great players of their time make their own decisions, regardless of what others tell them they should do. C.J. Spiller proves this theory. When it all comes down to it, on National Signing Day, Robert Nkemdiche is going to reward Clemson for all of the negative press we've been receiving due to his recruitment! It will be his way of showing everyone how strong his feelings of our special place are.
And when that first home game of 2013 rolls around, and he emerges first at the top of The HILL, decked out in all Orange.....a tiger-like roar of 85,000 will not only shake the Upstate, it'll be felt as far away
as......Nigeria!

Don't forget he is only 17. Maybe he should have waited until signing day, it shows how the SEC media will hound you if you think outside of their conference and with the young man's ability...compounds the issue.

You are correct about RN committing to early. The sec media has made his life a living H&ll as long as he was committed to Clemson. Now we won't hear much about him b/c sec media believe they got their job done. Opening his eyes to the sec.

Ugh. One player going against what his family or community pressures him to do does not prove this theory.
Anyway, I'm fine with whatever RN decides to do and I don't want to go too far into this issue other than to say that if someone objectively sat back and made a pro's and con's list for RN coming to Clemson versus going to Ole Miss, it would be ridiculously in favor of Clemson. Doesn't mean it will happen, but I do firmly believe this is true.
