they seem to be on the defensive side of the ball

offense sucks...play calling sucks...personnel sucks (or is not being developed / put in the right place to have success)

The beauty of the ACC is also a double-edged sword. A team can be merely average and still rack up a lot of wins, but the mediocrity of the league can also mask average coaching. The thing that concerns me about our play under Dabo is how few really high quality wins we've had. Certainly the Orange Bowl is one, but overall, we've been pretty poor against really food teams. Is this disputable?
