It is important to protect the integrity of our elections. But we must be careful not to undermine free and fair access to the ballot in the name of preventing phantom voter fraud.
This is referring to the phantom scare tactic of fraud to try to hinder mail-in ballots.

because the President himself is casting doubt about a means to vote for people who can not for whatever reason vote in person.
All while actively sabotaging the method of that means to vote.
You're right, all who want to vote should be able to vote. And I will add, should be confident that their vote will count.

Voter Fraud Is A Felony

in many cases. Why risk being arrested for a felony by fraudulently voting?
Trump made the ridiculous claim that he would’ve won the popular vote if not for voter fraud. Then he created a task force to investigate it, and it went nowhere.
Trump has never admitted he wasn’t perfect in his life. A+ on the coronavirus, perfect phone call, etc. etc.
I can’t imagine him losing the election and congratulating Biden and being a good sport. Even if he loses by 10%, I can promise you he’s not going to say the best man won and move on. Would shock me if it does. But of course we all know if he loses, it will be very close. Even more reason that he’s going to spin conspiracy theories. The reason he is talking about mail in voting so much is so he will have an excuse if he does lose.

The Brennan Center advocates for a number of progressive public policy positions, including raising the minimum wage, opposing voter ID laws, and calling for public funding of elections.[6][7] The organization opposed the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Citizens United v. FEC, which held that the First Amendment prohibits the government from restricting independent political expenditures by nonprofits.[8][9]
The Center's stated mission is to "work to hold our political institutions and laws accountable to the twin American ideals of democracy and equal justice for all."[10] The organization's president is Michael Waldman, former director of speechwriting for President Bill Clinton.
Good try tho.

That is a good point. But Trump would’ve had much more credibility bringing this issue up if he had not tried to spin that the only reason he didn’t win the popular vote was because of voter fraud in 2016. He’s like the little boy that cried wolf.
Democrats have won the popular election in six of the last seven elections. It’s just sort of where we are now politically in this country

And all you're doing is repeating unproven BS that's being spouted by Dear Leader, who fears a trouncing in November. There is no real evidence or danger of mass voter fraud, and definitely not with mail-in voting. These are made-up fears by Trump and his followers to preemptively discredit the election.

Your argument ends when you say you can't use past evidence. That's the point. You can. The past evidence shows the system is safe.
