Looking back to late last year, KB had probably his best game in the ACC Championship (the rest of the team played very well too). Then he got crushed in the CFP by Bama (he wasn't the only player to have a bad game either). The writing was on the wall vs another elite team; you could dare him to beat you passing and win. I wonder if that bad experience has effected him (?). Then highly touted TL comes in with a good attitude and NFL arm. It seemed like KB stepped up his game to keep the starting spot, but everyone knew (including KB) that TL was only going to get better. As I have said before, I think this was the time to do it so KB had options. I also think the coaches want to start out strong vs waiting until the 2nd quarter to get started. The rest of the ACC does not look impressive, but we seem to get everyone's best shot. A slow start doesn't help.
I wish KB would have stayed, but we have to move on.
