The Joy of Travel

Ugh. So being frugal I booked a flight to Vegas on Sunday evening, with a return on Tuesday night redeye.

Well, right before I was about to leave for the airport I get a text alert that the flight was delayed, so I would miss my connection to LAS.

Now, after being on the phone with Delta most of the afternoon, I'm flying into PHX tomorrow and arriving about 4pm. I just hope there are no more delays tomorrow.

I fly from Charlotte often as I travel often for my job, and this is pretty rare. It's too late to even drive out there now.

UGH.

We had a similar experience. Now we are flying through salt lake tomorrow getting into Phoenix at 1.

After we had to reschedule my wife looked at me and said "when Clemson wins none of the travel woes will matter." I believe she was right.

I'll be praying for all the tiger fans to make it to Phoenix in time to watch history.

Go tigers.

That's why we drove the old family truckster when we went out west to wally world. Stayed with my wife's cousin on his worm farm and even attended a funeral in arizona.
