I think it could be deadly with Rodgers....he definitely gets yards after contact.
Hope Scelliott dusts off the playbook and use it against FSU.

We’ve seen it a bunch of times with Amari this year already, hasn’t had much success. It truly depends on the pulling tackle, TE and whatever WRs are over there blocking. And it’s just so #### easy to read with the pre-snap motion. It’s aftually worked better as a distraction that has allowed Kelly to keep it off tackle the opposite way with the HB as lead blocker.

No corners and safeties to crowd the edge... they were all covering dangerous wide receivers who were streaking downfield while linebackers were forced to trail elusive tight ends and sure-handed slot receivers flashing open in the middle of the field.
That vertical threat is greatly diminished now... leaving more defenders to patrol the edge. If we had that vertical dimension, our offense would be very dangerous... enough to beat bama (or uga or whoever). Hopefully that element of the Clemson offense will return next season. But at least our guy has paid his dues...

I wish we had a true triple option package for short yardage. Not spread option, old wishbone, wing T, or power I option. Only for occasional use.

Inconsistent blocking at times from the young rbs could be hindering the play calling in certain aspects.

We have ran it with Rodgers this year and it usually is not very effective. He has 2 runs for -13 yards. Idk how many of his catches were in the sweep where KB just tosses it to the sweep man.
