It was great to hear something different than spelling Clemson Tigers a dozen times a game. Dont get me wrong....I scream every time we do the cheer but lets come up with some more cheers. We dont even do the Orange/White cheer anymore.

I thought it was great and think we should do the "I believe that we WILL WIN" when our Tigers need us the most.
My voice is horse and my arms are tired from waving them supporting our team (and trying to get the couch potatoes around me to do the same)but some new chants, cheers would certainly be welcome.

do it for a couple of years now. Also chants usually aren't stolen. they are started by cross over fans.
ex. Lots of students at Wren HS go to CU then do their favorite HS chant at the game.
Is there a definite originator or it?

The guy who started it last year (He's the head cheer leader a.k.a. "Mic Man") literally sent out a Facebook message that spread throughout Clemson students with a video of the Utah St basketball crowd doing the chant, saying that it would be cool if we started doing that as a new tradition.
It can sound pretty cool, yes, but I don't like the fact that it is 100% stolen from someone else. I like originality.

I believe that we will win is just too pansyish.
To me, it sounds like a cheer of desperation, not domination. We should have the attitude of EXPECTING to win, not the "living on a prayer" attitude, which is what the cheer sounds like to me. I don't know how to really describe it, but I really can't stand that cheer.
