The Heel QB broke TLs record

For touchdown passes by a freshman but I haven’t heard how many attempts he had. TL wasn’t the starter as a freshman until the third or fourth game. I believe he had 397 attempts in his freshman year. How many has Howell had?

The nice thing about Trevor Lawrence is that he is above all of that. He is so good of a football player and so good of a quarterback that he transcends records. He is so good as a quarterback that he has had only one game in his entire college career where the alcohol was in question in the fourth quarter.

It is hard to break number based records when you’re not able to have big 4th quarters. And really most of his third quarters have simply been cameo appearances.

We are witnessing a football team and a quarterback so good that they don’t even have a fair chance at getting Heisman Trophy’s or even individual quarterback awardsAnd really most of his third quarters have simply been cameo appearances.

Howells stats are

211 for 355 59.4 completion % 2,946 yards 8.3 per attempt 32 tds 6 ints 68 qbr 155.5 rating

And Trevor didn’t start until the fifth game last year.
