The Georgia Southern bashing has gotten boring.

Yes, there are some really dumba$$ Eagles fans that have come on here and tried to stir the pot (that's a head scratcher in itself) but Georgia Southern does have a rich football tradition. With six national championships that is among the highest at either the FCS or Div 1 level. They should have stayed in FCS because their future in the college football world is not going to be a pretty one. Their smack talk would be better served with the likes of Wofford, Citadel and Furman i.e. schools that might actually give a crap about them. They are like one of those famous Statesboro gnats that fly around being annoying until they get squashed. That said, I think most Clemson fans would rather have their children go to Georgia Southern than South Carolina, Tennessee, UGA, NC State, Ohio State, North Carolina, etc. As a parent of a Georgia Southern graduate, I'm glad I never had to give a dime to any of those schools listed or pretend I hoped they did well because my child went there.

I really appreciate that Clemson fans are so enthusiastic. Gives Georgia Southern a great opportunity to be competitive with good ranked team. Boring us. Good exposure, bring it on.

We Georgia Southern fans know that our teams odd's of winning the game are small but stranger things have happen and can happen again. Our team has nothing to lose going into this game but everything to gain where as Clemson on the other hand has everything to lose and really nothing to gain from wining just due to the fact that they are supposed to win.
