about 50% of Bama's National Championships are self-proclaimed rather than something the team actually won on the field so they really don't have any room to talk.

I've never heard of this poll before, but apparently they rank us as #1. According to their analysis, our top wins are against NC State (Qual 3) and Ga Southern (4). Can't say I agree with the NC State, but they have as many top 50 wins as Alabama.

Nothing compares to usc-east faking a Southern Conference

title in 1933. Imagine where you are on the food chain when you start faking Southern Conference titles. BTW they ALSO try to call it an ACC Championship 20 years before the ACC was formed.

1933 Undefeated in the Southern Conference
In 1933, under the direction of the legendary Billy Laval, the Gamecocks went undefeated in conference play. However, Duke would finish with a better conference record by one win and was awarded the championship. (The chickens were 3-0 against Southern Conference opponents. It should be mentioned that from 1934-1940 Clemson defeated the chickens every year for SEVEN in a row.

Because according to Colley,they won the NC that year, not Clemson.

In other news, that Auburn loss is working out well for Auburn, as a tiny tiny tiny jab at Bama.
