The CU Tiger Mascot Beats All Others

I've always thought this, but studied all the other "Tiger" mascots around the country to compare - "Panthers" too.

The Clemson Tiger is by far the best. I tried to examine them objectively and still came to the same conclusion. The other "tiger/panther/feline" mascots are just - weak. Clemson's has the best design, color, outfits, best looking head, physique - everything.

Maybe the worst is LSU's "Mike the Tiger." Looks cartoonish. Ridiculous head - like a pumpkin.

Look up "Teams with tiger mascots" & you'll see them all. If CU's is a 10 - the rest are maybe a 5 or 6. It ain't even close.

Unless you count the one who lives in his own all-inclusive resort in Baton Rouge.

But we definitely win the costumed mascot competition paws down. Glad our athletic dept figured out years ago it was worthwhile to invest in one of the most visible images we have!

I know this will not be popular, but i preferred the old version without the psycho eyes. I like the Memphis tiger. A bit cartoonish yes, but has grown on me.

My take is Aubie the Tiger is likable but no Clemson Tiger. Our Tiger is pumped and Aubie Tiger is like his older Uncle Tiger!
